Chet Piwowarczyk, 41, of Anna, Texas passed away on June 26, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Chet was born Feb. 14, 1976 to Walter “Wally” and Mary (nee Marden) Piwowarczyk of Dixon, Mo. He married Hollie Lynn Holland in Lakeland, Fla. on March 5, 2011.
Chet worked for many years as a forklift service technician and loved carpentry work as his past time. His passion was spending time with his children; family and friends, along with camping, four wheeling and campsite cooking.
Chet was always eager to help anyone; whether he knew them for five minutes or five years. His smile lit up an entire room. There wasn’t one person who honestly did not adore him.
Chet was preceded in death by his grandfather Walter Piwowarczyk and his grandparents Daniel Marden and Julia Marden; his uncles Chester and Marc and his beloved cousin William “Will” Arlow.
In addition to his wife and parents Chet is survived by his children Chester “CJ” Piwowarczyk Jr. and Kaycee Piwowarczyk, both of Springville, Jenna Kessler of Anna, Texas and Hanna Kessler of Machias; his grandmother Irene (nee Kurczab) Piwowarczyk; two sisters, Heidi Kester of Anna, Texas and Wendy (David, “DJ”) Redditt of Dixon, Mo.; his aunts and uncles Alice, Helen (Gene) Saville and Daniel “Danny” and Barbara Piwowarczyk; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Brian and Ronda Holland of Machias, sister-in-law Heidie Giboo and a brother-in-law Brian “BJ” Holland II; nieces Jayde, M’Kenzie and Emma; nephews Dillon, Brayden, Dalton, Karter and Jaxson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Chet, Chet style, will be held at 9435 Main St., Machias, on Aug. 5, at 1 p.m. Friends and family are all welcome. Chet’s favorite thing besides outdoor activities was a barbecue with food, drinks, a bonfire and of course laughs. Bring chairs, drinks, a dish to pass and any pictures that could be given to his family.
