Gordon F. Bobseine, 94, formerly of Collins Center, passed away March 5, 2018 at Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home. He was born on Dec. 29, 1923 in Collins Center, the son of the late Frank and Coza (nee Skuse) Bobseine.
Gordon was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. He was previously employed as a salesman for 38 years at Emerling Chevrolet in Boston. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion as well as the former St. Francis Cabrini RC Church in Collins Center.
In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, and three brothers Oliver Bobseine, Chub Bobseine and Lorne Bobseine.
Gordon is survived by a son Wayne (Phyllis) Bobseine of Springville; a daughter, Dawn (Edward Woods) Martin of Buffalo; a sister, Joyce Ellis of Brant; three grandchildren Jamie (Kristin) Martin, Nicole (Nathan) Richard and Zachary (Jasmine) Bobseine; four great-grandchildren Joshua, Andrew, Shilo and Kaleb and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held April 7 at 11 a.m. from Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church in Langford. Memorials may be made to any veteran related charity.
