Harold “Harry” J. McCormick, 88, of Springville, passed away October 26, 2017 at his home.
Harry was born in Java on March 6, 1929 to the late James and Mildred (Cluney) McCormick. He married Jane Falt on May 18, 1957.
Harry worked as a barber and owned Harry’s Barber Shop in Springville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Springville American Legion, VFW and St. Aloysius Church.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife and siblings Paul, Agnes and Viola.
Harry is survived by his children Christopher McCormick of Rochester, Jim (Margaret) McCormick of Syracuse and David (Sharon) McCormick of Avon, Colo.; sisters Marion (Chuck) Kibler of Strykersville and Kay Weatherbee of East Aurora; three grandchildren Sean, Erika and Ian and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. Aloysius Church, Springville. Burial was in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
