Harry Frank Buskey, 85, of Springville, passed away July 4, 2018 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital.
He was born Aug. 1, 1932 to the late Frank and Josephine (nee Grzebiniski) Buskey, of Springville. He married the late Gail Emanuelson of Springville, on Jan. 30, 1960. They later divorced.
Harry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served at Key West, Fla. as a dental technician. After an honorable discharge, he worked in Buffalo at an advertising firm. He lived in Georgia for a short time, but returned home to Springville where he lived the remainder of his life.
Harry enjoyed exercising and working out at Spring Creek Gym, sunbathing, woodworking, gardening and garden designing, artistry and painting. His artistry and woodworks were sold through his business, Pelican Designs - Contemporary Wood Products.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a brother Norbert Buskey; two sisters Mary Buskey and Phyllis Snyder and a brother-in-law Theodore Snyder.
Harry is survived by his sister-in-law Judith (nee Witzig) Buskey, of Fayetteville; nephews and nieces Steven (Carol Smith) Snyder of Shiatook, Ok., Lori (Carl) Roper of Lapeer, Mich., Mark (Scott) Snyder of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Deborah (Brad) Carson of Belleville, Mich., Traci (Robert) Micek of Buffalo Grove, Ill. and Shari Buskey of Fayetteville.
Harry’s wishes were to be cremated. A prayer service at his gravesite will take place at a later date in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Springville.
