Jean D. Armagost (nee Tokash), 84, of Boston, passed away September 3, 2017 at Hospice Buffalo in Cheektowaga.
Jean was born in Sykesville, Pa. on May 7, 1933 to the late Walter and Pearl (nee Dobrosky) Tokash. She married Joe Armagost, of Boston, on Sept. 20, 1952 at St. Mary’s Church in Reynoldsville.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed going anywhere with her husband, especially to the VFW and AMVETS. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and always like to be dressed up and wearing her favorite jewelry. Jean also loved to cook and bake, her specialty was Christmas cookie cutouts.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Tokash.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter Kathy (Michael) Dennehy, of Springville; two grandchildren Stephanie (Will) Hart of Rochester and Lauren Klenk of West Valley; four great-grandchildren Caleb and Allyson Heineman and Olivia and Lucas Hart and a great- nephew Ronald (Karen) Cork of Eden.
Friends may call Friday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
