Mark E. Goggin, 64, a longtime resident of Springville, passed away July 7, 2017.
Mark was born in Dunkirk on March 16, 1953 to John and Phyllis (nee World) Goggin. He graduated from Hamburg Central High School and attended Hilbert College and the State University of New York at Morrisville.
Mark worked as a mechanic for a variety of dealerships in New York and California. He lived a modest life, enjoying the simple pleasures, playing with his grandchildren, a subtle wit bringing smiles to family and friends, stock cars, the highs and lows of the Buffalo Bills and never encountering a motor he couldn’t repair.
Mark was preceded in death by his father and a sister Janet (nee Goggin) Weakland.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by a son Eric (Lauren) Goggin; grandchildren Callum and Vivienne; brothers John Goggin and Tim Goggin; close friend Debbie Goggin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
