Mark L. Latak, 60, of Glenwood passed away November 11, 2017 at the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home in Springville.
Mark was in born in Springville on Oct. 29, 1957 to Florence (nee Frydel) Latak and the late Leon Latak. He married Kathryn Winter on April 19, 1980.
Mark graduated from Springville-Griffith Institute in 1975 and worked for the family business, Latak Blacktopping, until his father’s death in 1994. He then took over the business and became president and owner. He enjoyed archery, bowling, deep sea fishing and playing horseshoes.
In addition to his mother and wife, Mark is survived by a step-son Paul (Lynn) Taleck of Port Washington, Wisc. and two step-grandchildren, Garrett and Ayden Taleck.
A private service was held at the convenience of the family.
