Richard D. Turner, 84, of Springville, passed away at his residence on March 26, 2017.
He was born in West Valley on May 31, 1932 to the late Dudley Otis and Fannie Mae (nee Bell) Turner. He married Joyce Hintz in North Otto on Sept. 15, 1951.
Richard worked as a truck driver for CMSI in Buffalo. He was a United States Army veteran who loved trap shooting and hunting.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by two sisters Lahoma and Marie.
Richard is survived by his wife, of Springville; children Barry (Sue) Turner of West Valley, Randy (Elaine Hinman) Turner of West Valley, Brain (Wendy) Turner of Paige, Texas and Rhonda (Richard) Howe of Springville; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held from the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville. The Rev. Tim Chase officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, West Valley.
