Robert F. Wolf, 66, of Springville, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.
Robert was born Feb. 11, 1951 in Buffalo to Mary (nee Renaud) and the late Robert Wolf. He married Patricia Langiewicz on Feb. 8, 1992.
Robert served in the U.S. Air Force - Air National Guard from Feb. 1, 1970 until Dec. 31, 2006. He was awarded many awards and citations to include the Air Force Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Air Reserve Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award.
Robert was a truck driver for Tops in Buffalo and a taxidermist for S&S Taxidermy in Springville. He enjoyed hunting.
In addition to his mother, of Springville, and his wife, Robert is survived by his daughter, Lindsey (Walter) Sorensen, of Honolulu, Hawaii; step-daughters Jennifer (George) Wenner of Grand Island, Carrie Ann (Michael) McBride of Elma, Jennifer Augustino of Clarence and Beth Ann (James) Martens of Salamanca; brothers James (Julie) Wolf of Dallas, Texas and Matthew Wolf of Cheektowaga; sister Mary (Timothy) Stubblebine of Concord; parents-in-law Donald and Mary Langiewicz of Alden; four sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law, 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, Jan. 28 from 12-5 p.m. at Smith Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville, where funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Pembroke National Cemetery.
