Letter to the Editor: Bread of Life Outreach extends thanks to community

Editor:

Colden Fire Hall was buzzing with with energy and merriment the evening of April 24 for Bread of Life Outreach’s sold out Seats for Eats Chair-ity event. Over 250 guests came to eat, drink and bid on their favorite decorated chairs, of which there were more than two dozen from which to choose.

The event raised over $14,000 for BOLO which will be put to use as the organization grows both its client base and its physical presence in the Colden community. BOLO is extremely grateful for all the hard work performed by dozens of volunteers who made this event possible, and especially to Joe Caldarelli and Julie Fronkowiak from Colden Market and Cafe, who were instrumental in the planning and execution.

BOLO also thanks our numerous generous sponsors, the individuals who decorated and donated chairs and other items auctioned or raffled off, and the restaurants, winery and breweries that participated.

Look for more entertaining events from BOLO in the future. Follow Bread of Life Outreach of Colden on Facebook to stay up to date.
