Letter to the Editor: Little Free Libraries made possible by grant

Editor:

I wanted to give a public "thanks" to the organizations and individuals that have made the latest set of local Little Free Libraries possible in the greater Springville area.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation, free book exchanges are now located at Colden Elementary School, the Boys and Girls Club of Springville and the Rail to Trails park on Main Street. The Village of Springville also installed a Little Free Library at Heritage Park with the support and encouragement of Mayor Bill Krebs, Administrator Liz Melock and Superintendent of Public Works Ken Kostowniak. They were enthusiastic and helpful in getting these set up and adding another amenity for residents of and visitors to our community.

These free book and magazine exchanges that are open to all. If you have a supply to donate that will not fit in one of these locations, please contact me at karamariek@gmail.com. Do you want to help with "stewarding" these libraries or learn about starting your own? Contact me or visit littlefreelibrary.org.
