WVCS bowlers struggle to find traction

SALAMANCA – The West Valley Central School bowlers traveled to Central Lanes in Salamanca on Jan. 16 to take on the Salamanca teams.

The boys struggled and lost all four points. The three-game series and single game were bowled by Nathan Dash, who had 375-134.

The girls came close but came up short, losing all four points. Rachel Frascella had the high three-game series and single game, 369-128. Makenze Hurtubise was close behind with a 127.

The teams traveled to Gowanda Jan. 22, where both teams lost all four games, finding it hard to adjust to the lanes.

The boys high three games and single were bowled by Brian Reed, who had 410-179.

For the girls, Frascella had the high series of 336 and high single game of 127.
