SPRINGVILLE—Back for its second year, Dash for Cash will pit teams against each other as they race through downtown for a chance to win a cash prize. Set for Thursday, Aug. 16, teams of two will test their physicality and knowledge of Main Street businesses.

Clues and tasks will vary in difficulty, but the event is open to everyone.
The race will begin at the Springville Journal office, where teams are given their first task and clue. There is a two hour time limit to complete the course.
Teams are made up of two people with one participant at least 18-years-old, there is a $10 entry fee. The first place team will be awarded $200, second place $100 and the third place team will take home $75.
Registration is required by Tuesday, Aug. 14 for team participation. Teams can register at the Springville Journal office, 45 E. Main St., rear; a registration form can be found on page 9.
