SCA seeking artwork submissions

SPRINGVILLE—Springville Center for the Arts seeks artwork submissions for Petit Noel: Giftable Fine Arts and Crafts. The deadline to submit is Nov. 18. This collection of giftable fine arts and crafts will be on display at the Olmsted Gallery at Springville Center for the Arts Nov. 24 through Dec. 23. This exhibit is sold off-the-wall and coincides with downtown Springville’s A Very Merry Main Street, which is held Black Friday, Nov. 24 and Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25.

Artwork submitted should follow these guidelines: maximum size of 12x12 image for 2D work, 3D work should be small, prints must be numbered, fine craft items, artist-made gift and note cards, pottery and jewelry. The maximum size of a 12x12 image does not include the matte. Images without a frame should be brought in a plastic sleeve. There is no limit to quantity.

To submit, artists are asked to email images of their submissions in advance to Unlike other exhibits, images may be submitted at the time of drop off. Bring artwork to the Center between Nov. 15 and 18 during open gallery hours: Wednesday and Friday, 12 to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 12 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is recommended and encouraged that artists speak with Center staff in advance at 592-9038 to discuss their work.
