MACHIAS—Traditional Folk Music of New York Vol. II is the next installment of the Cattaraugus County Museum’s Summer at the Stone House series.
Set for Thursday, July 12, the presentation will be given by Buffalo based musician and researcher Dave Ruch. This program is a sequel of sorts to the presentation he gave last summer, with all new material.
Ruch travels both regionally and internationally giving hundreds of concerts and workshops each year for schools, music festivals, libraries and museums. He specializes in historical and traditional music from New York. This is his third time participating in the summer series.
The Cattaraugus County Museum is located in the Stone House, 9824 Route 16 in Machias. The program will begin at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. For more information, call 353-8200 or visit cattco.org/museum.
