Vendors needed for Shop Local event

SPRINGVILLE—The Springville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Shop Local in the Park is looking for vendors for the Aug. 29 event. Businesses and organizations are welcome to set up and sell products or just offer information to shoppers.

The monthly event brings together live music, local businesses and residents to showcase what Springville has to offer. Jake and the Fatman BBQ served up food in July, with 49 Cafe and Eatery offering coffee. Ploetz’s Maple Products, Living Oil and Green Springville were also on hand, among others.

The Aug. 29 event is still in need of vendors. There is a $10 fee for first time vendors, $20 for repeat vendors. There is no fee for businesses and organizations that are a member of the Chamber.

Both Jake and the Fatman and 49 Cafe will be back. The Chamber will be selling Shop Local tee shirts for $15. This month’s event is sponsored by Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Jeremy Pyszczynski.

Any businesses or organizations that would like to sign up to be a vendor can email Pyszczynski at Jeremy.pyszczynski@edwardjones.com or Colleen Mahoney at Editor@SpringvilleJournal.com

Shop Local in the Park will be Wednesday, Aug. 29 from 5-8 p.m. in Heritage Park.
