Police Report, April 5

Friday, March 23

Boston – A driver reported he fell asleep at the wheel and went into a ditch on South Feddick Road. After investigating the accident, police determined that the driver, Steven M. Drachenberg, 32, of Buffalo, was in fact intoxicated and he was charged with DWI along with three other vehicle and traffic violations. His BAC was reported to be .1 percent. Drachenberg was released to a third party.

Boston – Patrol responded to a verbal disturbance between a male and female on Brown Hill Road. The parties were separated for the evening and a domestic incident report was completed.

Springville – A vehicle stopped for speeding and passing a flashing red traffic signal resulted in the arrest of Nicholas R. Kahabka, 23, of Springville who was charged with UPM. He was released on an appearance ticket.


Saturday, March 24

Boston – A traffic stop on the southbound 219 Expressway resulted in the arrest of Michael J. Bogdan, 37, of Buffalo who was charged with DWI after reportedly failing standard field sobriety tests. His BAC was reportedly .11 percent. Bogdan was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was subsequently charged with UPM. He was also the subject of an outstanding warrant from the Village of Hamburg and was turned over to Hamburg PD after processing.


Sunday, March 25

Boston – The ECSO Fire Investigators were called to the scene of an attached garage fire at a residence on Liebler Road, no further information was available.


Monday, March 26

Springville – A vehicle struck a female pedestrian in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for treatment.


Tuesday, March 27

Boston – At approximately 3:35 p.m. while on the 219 Expressway, Bradley M. Stephens, 20, of Sloan, was charged with a speeding violation and UPM. At the same time an unnamed 18-year-old female from Elma was also charged with UPM. Both subjects were issued an appearance ticket.

Boston – Patrol investigated a two-car property damage accident on the southbound 219 Expressway that resulted when one vehicle attempted to pass the other and move back into the lane. Damage to both vehicles was said to be minor. The operator of the passing vehicle was ticketed for moving from the lane unsafely.


Thursday, March 29

Springville – A vehicle stopped on the 219 Expressway for a headlight violation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Michael C. Montalvo, 32, of Buffalo, after it was discovered his driver’s license was suspended. He was charged with AUO in the third degree. Montalvo was ticketed and released.
