Saturday, Dec. 16
Sardinia – Two vehicles reportedly were stuck in the snow on one of the hills on Creek Road. Several hours later, a tractor-trailer reportedly was stuck on a hill on Genesee Road.
Concord – Patrol responded to a reported residential chimney fire on Tarn Trail. The responding deputy saw flames on the outside of the structure and attempted to extinguish to no avail. The ECSO Fire Investigators were subsequently called to the scene.
Monday, Dec. 18
Boston – A vehicle went off the roadway on Cole Road into a field and struck a fence. Patrol arrived on-scene and discovered the vehicle was still running but there was no driver around. There were footprints in the snow leading to the roadway. There were no signs of injury in the vehicle but patrol did notice an odor of alcohol emanating from inside the passenger compartment. Patrol went to the registered owner’s address and did notice fresh tire tracks and footprints leading into the house. The house was dark and no one answered. The 48-year-old female driver turned herself in the next day and was ticketed, including one for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Colden –A traffic stop on Seneca Brook Road resulted in the arrest of the driver, Anthony G. Bellanti, 33, of Concord, after he became disorderly during the stop. Bellanti was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, disorderly conduct and UPM as well as four vehicle and traffic violations. He was taken to the Holding Center pending arraignment.
Tuesday, Dec. 19
Sardinia – Benjamin K. Kelly, 39, of Chaffee was arrested at his residence on an outstanding arrest warrant from the ECSO and an outstanding bench warrant from the State Police. Kelly was taken to the Holding Center pending arraignment.
Wednesday, Dec. 20
Colden – Numerous ECSO units, including SWAT, assisted State Police with a report of shots fired by a female at a residence on Brown Hill Road. Two other family members were able to exit the residence and run to safety. State Police were able to eventually take a female into custody.
Springville – Patrol initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle on Springville Boston Road. The driver became upset with patrol as he was issuing a ticket and at one point exited her vehicle and started screaming at patrol. She got back in her vehicle and pulled away. Patrol activated the siren and pulled her over again. She was once again ticketed.
Thursday, Dec. 21
Sardinia – A caller reported she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument and he would not leave. State Police gave the male individual a courtesy ride to Arcade.
Sardinia – A vehicle struck a guardrail on Genesee Road and incurred heavy front-end damage.
Friday, Dec. 22
Sardinia – Patrol investigated a car-deer accident on Middle Road. The car was drivable and the deer was gone upon arrival.
Springville – Zachary J. Kroenke, 32, of Springville was charged with AUO in the third degree following a traffic stop for a lighting defect on Waverly Street. He was ticketed and released.
Saturday, Dec. 23
Boston – Five vehicles were reported to be off the roadway on the 219 Expressway all within a half hour of each other. No injuries were reported.
Concord – A vehicle that was moving over to let another vehicle pass ended up going off the roadway on Springville Collins Road. The vehicle rolled down an embankment coming to rest in some trees. No injuries were reported.
Sardinia – Patrols responded to several reports of vehicles off the roadway on various roads throughout the town. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
Sunday, Dec. 24
Sardinia – A Savage Road homeowner reported a male with a bloody nose was pounding on his door shortly before 4 a.m. The male individual was located and it turned out he had gotten into an altercation while at a friend’s house and was on his way home when his phone died. The male refused first aid and was turned over to a parent.
Sardinia – Patrols were kept busy responding to several reported vehicles off the roadway on various roads throughout the town. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. Six vehicles were stuck in the snow on Warner Gulf Road.
Springville – Samantha R. Collier, 23, of Collins was charged with petit larceny after being apprehended by loss prevention agents at WalMart for taking 12 items valued at $55.82. She was released on an appearance ticket.
Monday, Dec. 25
Boston – A vehicle slid onto the front yard of a home on Feddick Road. The homeowner was assisting the motorist.
Concord – Wintry weather contributed to numerous vehicles reported to be off the roadway on various roads throughout town. A passenger in a vehicle on the 219 Expressway exited the vehicle after it pulled to the side of the road to clear ice and snow from the windshield wipers. Then, the mirror of a passing vehicle, which did pull over, struck the passenger. The passenger was taken to the hospital for treatment of a broken arm.
Tuesday, Dec. 26
Boston – An infant who was burned by hot cocoa was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sardinia – An employee of an Olean Road business reportedly hit a male individual who was retrieving property in the head with a hammer. The male declined first aid. Patrol interviewed both parties and received conflicting accounts. They were advised.
Wednesday, Dec. 27
Boston – Patrol assisted State Police with an injury accident on Wohlhueter Road.
Boston – Patrols assisted Mercy EMS after an unruly patient forced the ambulance to pull to the side of the road on the northbound 219 Expressway. The patient was restrained and the ambulance continued on.
Colden – The ECSO assisted State Police after several snowmobiles were reportedly lost and stuck on the trails off of Holland Glenwood Road. They were located and brought to safety.
Thursday, Dec. 28
Boston – A vehicle stop on Boston-Colden Road resulted in the arrest of Zachary R. Cramer, 18, of Attica after he was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was ticketed and released.
Colden – The Erie County Bookmobile backed into a guardrail on State Road near the Colden Highway Barns. Damage appeared to be minor.
Springville – A male who slipped on ice and fell on East Main Street was taken to the hospital for a knee and head injury.
Saturday, Dec. 30
Boston – Diane Hage, 63, of Boston was charged with DWI: first offense, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent or higher, moving from the lane unsafely and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. She was released to a third party.
