Friday, June 8
Boston – A driver on the northbound 219 Expressway wound up striking two deer. Damage was said to be minor and the vehicle was drivable.
Concord – Police investigated a car versus motorcycle accident at the Genesee Road and Vaughn Street intersection. No injuries were reported and information was exchanged between the drivers.
Sardinia – An intoxicated male apparently attempted to enter a residence on Savage Road but was scared off when the homeowner yelled at him. Patrol checked the area with negative results.
Saturday, June 9
Concord – A traffic stop on Cattaraugus Street resulted in the arrest of James D. Roberts, 31, of Springville, after it was discovered his driver’s license was suspended. He was charged with AUO in the third degree. Roberts was ticketed and released.
Sardinia – Windows were smashed and auto parts were ripped out of two cars at Tom’s Route 16 Auto Service. Three kids were seen leaving the area on bicycles, according to the ECSO.
Sunday, June 10
Boston – The ECSO assisted State Police with an injury accident on the southbound 219 Expressway in which Mercy Flight was called.
Springville – Donald J. Close, 24, of Freedom was charged with petit larceny and criminal mischief in the fourth degree after allegedly taking $34 worth of merchandise from Walmart.
Monday, June 11
Concord – A vehicle went off the roadway on Springville-Collins Road into a ditch injuring the driver. The driver was issued a ticket for moving from the lane unsafely.
Sardinia – The ECSO responded to a report of a head-on injury accident on Olean Road. A vehicle traveling southbound turned left in front of a northbound vehicle. The force of the collision caused the southbound vehicle to then strike a parked vehicle. The operators signed off with EMS personnel.
Wednesday, June 13
Boston – Police responded to a rollover injury accident on the northbound 219 Expressway. The occupants of the vehicle signed off with first aid personnel.
Thursday, June 14
Concord – Jeffrey J. Bernhardt, 62, of East Otto was charged with DWI following a traffic stop on Route 219. As he was being placed under arrest, he reportedly began fighting with police. Bernhardt was additionally charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, resisting arrest and UPM as well as two other vehicle and traffic law violations. He was taken to the Holding Center pending arraignment.
Concord – A motorcyclist slid off the road on Springville-Boston Road. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of a leg injury.
Concord – Nafese J. Sanford, 26, of Buffalo was charged with AUO in the second degree following a traffic stop on the northbound 219 Expressway after police discovered he had a suspended non-driver ID only. He was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $500 bail.
