Police Report, June 28, 2018

Friday, June 15

Boston –  A vehicle from Canada going 98 mph passed police on the northbound

219 Expressway. A traffic stop was enacted and the driver, Muhammad Rehan, 33, of Arizona, had suspended driving privileges in New York State for failure to answer a summons. He was charged with speeding, AUO in the third degree, as well as reckless driving. Rehan was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $250 bail.

Boston – The owner of 30-40 sheep said to be on the “lamb” on Boston Colden

Road was aware and en route to the scene.

Concord – Trent R. Stinson, 23, of Springville, whose driver’s license was found

to be suspended following a traffic stop on Trevett Road, was also found to be in

possession of marijuana. Stinson was charged with AUO in the third degree,

UPM, and a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. He was taken to the Holding

Center in lieu of $250 bail.

Saturday, June 16

Boston – Joseph E. Amadori, 25, of Boston, was charged with felony DWI

following a traffic stop on Rice Road and the southbound 219 Expressway.

Amadori, who was found to have a revoked non-driver ID only, was charged with

a felony due to a previous conviction. He was also charged with AUO in the first

degree. Amadori reportedly refused a chemical test and was taken to the

Holding Center pending arraignment.

Concord – A traffic stop on Genesee Road resulted in the arrest of the driver,

Cole Y. Holstein, 33, of Springville. He was charged with AUO in the second

degree as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh

degree. Holstein was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $100.

Sunday, June 17

Concord – Police investigated a car versus motorcycle injury accident on Vaughn

Street. The operator of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital for a possible

broken collarbone. The driver of the passenger vehicle was ticketed for an

unspecified violation.

Monday, June 18

Boston – A motorist apparently fell asleep at the wheel and went off the roadway

on Heinrich Road into a cornfield and overturned. The driver signed off with first

aid personnel.

Boston – The ECSO assisted State Police with an injury accident on the

northbound 219 Expressway in which a motorcyclist struck a deer. The operator

was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Sardinia – The fire department removed a tree that was blocking the roadway on

Creek Road.

Tuesday, June 19

Arcade – At approximately 5:58 p.m. on Route 39 and Hiram Road, Jeffrey J. Havens, 20, of Chaffee was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, UPM, a controlled substance not in its original container, and a speed violation: exceeding 55 mph. NYSP reports indicate he was issued an appearance ticket.

Boston – At approximately 5 p.m. on Boston State Road, Timothy M. Canterbury,

24, of Derby, was charged with criminal trespassing in the second degree for an

incident originally reported the previous day at 12:40 p.m. Canterbury was issued

an appearance ticket.

Sardinia – A motorist who struck a deer on Pratham Road incurred heavy

damage to the front end of their vehicle. The deer did not make it through the

accident.

Thursday, June 21

Concord – A traffic stop on Buffalo Road resulted in the arrest of Dawn M.

Smercak, 48, of Springville, after she was found to be in possession of several

pills and drug paraphernalia. She was charged with three counts of criminal

possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminally using drug

paraphernalia in the second degree, as well as two violations of the public health

law for prescriptions not in original container. She was released on an

appearance ticket.

Springville – Patrick M. Dabols, 27, of Springville was arrested on an outstanding

bench warrant from the Town of West Seneca. He was taken to the Holding

Center.
