Police Report, March 8

Saturday, Feb. 24

Colden – Patrol responded to a reported rollover accident on Darien Road in which the caller did not see anyone around the vehicle. The driver, Joseph G. McNichol, 21, of Orchard Park, was located approximately two hours later near the scene. McNichol was subsequently charged with DWI. His BAC was reported to be .1 percent. He was released to family members.

Concord – A traffic stop on the southbound 219 Expressway resulted in the arrest of Zackery J. Raichlin, 28, of Dayton, who was wanted by the CCSO for an outstanding violation of probation warrant. He was turned over to CCSO deputies.

Concord – A vehicle stopped on the southbound 219 Expressway resulted in the arrest of both the driver and passenger. The driver, R.K. McCreary, 35, of Niagara Falls, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license for failure to pay child support. He was charged with AUO in the third degree. McCreary was ticketed and released. His passenger, Tamika N. McCreary, 31, also of Niagara Falls, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged with UPM. She was released on an appearance ticket.

Concord – The DCO was notified for a child and an adult that were bitten by a dog at a residence on Creek Road. The child was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Concord – ECSO deputies assisted Springville PD with a DWI arrest on Scoby Hill Road.

 

Sunday, Feb. 25

Concord – The fire department responded to a utility pole and wires that were on fire on Trevett Road.

Sardinia – Edward S. Marzycki, 56, of Perry, was charged with DWI following a traffic stop on Curriers Road. His BAC was reported to be .11 percent. Marzycki was also found to be in possession of a straw containing cocaine. He was subsequently charged with criminal possession of controlled substance in the seventh degree. He was released to a third party.

 

Monday, Feb. 26

Concord – ECSO Fire Investigators were called to the scene of a barn fire on Dowd Road. The cause is undetermined.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 27

Boston – At approximately 4:30 p.m., Michael A. Kaufman, 51, of Boston, was charged with drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway and UPM. He was issued an appearance ticket.

Boston – A vehicle stopped on Zimmerman Road resulted in the arrest of Travis J. White, 23, of West Seneca, who was charged with UPM. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Boston – Benjamin H. Talbot, 25, of Orchard Park, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop on Boston State Road. He was charged with AUO in the third degree as well as two other vehicle and traffic law violations. He was ticketed and released.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 28

Concord – A traffic stop on the southbound 219 Expressway resulted in the arrest of the driver, George M. Englehardt, 31, of Franklinville, who was found to have 13 active suspensions on his non-driver ID only. He was charged with AUO in the second degree and was taken to the Holding Center in Buffalo in lieu of $250 bail.

Concord – Nathan R. Stapleton, 35, of Hamburg, a passenger in a vehicle stopped on Moore Road, was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and a glass pipe. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $250 bail.

 

Thursday, March 1

Boston – The ECSO assisted State Police with a three-car accident on the northbound 219 Expressway.

Boston – The return of the wintry weather kept police busy as they responded to numerous reports of vehicles off the roadway and accidents on various roadways throughout town including an injury accident on West Tillen Road that was a result of a vehicle rollover. The heavy snow all contributed to numerous trees and wires down throughout town as well.

Sardinia – Jesse E. Dash, 31, of Delevan, was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop on Olean Road. He was ticketed and released. Dash was also given a courtesy ride to his residence by the tow agency.

Sardinia – A vehicle that went off the roadway on Genesee Road near Mehm Road was winched out. The driver was issued one ticket.

Sardinia – A vehicle operated by S.J. Santiago-Miyar, 21, of Hamburg, went into a ditch on Genesee Road near Pratham Road. His license was found to be suspended for a failure to answer a summons. He was ticketed for imprudent speed and AUO in the third degree. A passenger in the vehicle complained of leg pain following the accident and was taken to the hospital by a family member for treatment.   

Sardinia – The fire department was notified of a tree down blocking the roadway on Miller Avenue. They also responded to Johnson Road for several trees that took wires down. Barricades were set up.

 

Saturday, March 3

Boston – Joseph J. Durusky, 24, of Boston, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and UPM. Reported in the same incident, Joshua M. Bender, 24, of Boston, was charged with UPM. Both were issued appearance tickets.
