Police Report, Nov. 9

Friday, Oct. 27

Boston – A male individual who fell off a roof on Cole Road was taken to the hospital with back injuries.

Concord – A caller reported he was sitting in his living room watching TV when he heard a loud noise from outside. He looked out the window and saw a mobile home on a trailer rolling backward down Genesee Road. The trailer turned into his driveway and stopped. He then saw two males start pulling on the trailer at which time the trailer and mobile home went across the roadway into some trees. The two males then got into their vehicle and left the scene. The trailer and mobile home were impounded by patrol.

Sardinia – A Dodge Caliber was rendered inoperable by a car-deer collision on Savage Road. The deer reportedly took off after the crash. The vehicle was towed.

Sardinia – A single car accident on Warner Gulf Road, in which the vehicle flipped over, resulted in the driver being taken by Mercy Flight to the hospital for head and neck injuries.

 

Monday, Oct. 30

Boston – Raymond E. Page, 32, of Boston was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration after a traffic stop on Boston State Road. The vehicle was towed. Page was ticketed and released.

Springville – Investigating a hit and run accident in the Wal Mart parking lot, ECSO deputies initiated a traffic stop on Waverly Street of the vehicle. Kathleen J. Haggerty, 55, of Springville was subsequently charged with DWI as well as leaving the scene of a property damage accident and three other vehicle and traffic violations. Haggerty’s BAC was reported to be .12 percent. She was also found to be in possession of Xanax that was not in its original container. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and was released on an appearance ticket.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 31

Boston – Patrols handled several car-deer accidents around town over the span of two days. Drivers are reminded to use caution this time of year as the deer population is very active.

Springville – Samuel P. McCaslin, 27, of East Concord, was charged with UPM following a traffic stop for a suspended registration on North Cascade Drive. McCaslin was ticketed and released.

Springville – Kenneth M. Shafer, 25, of East Concord, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop on East Main Street for a suspended registration. Shafer was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $250 bail.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 1

Springville – A 17-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant from the Village of Fredonia Police Department. She was turned over to FPD.

 

Thursday, Nov. 2

Boston – A driver reported his vehicle was on fire while on the southbound 219 Expressway near Rice Road. The fire was put out with the help of a passing tractor-trailer’s fire extinguisher. It turned out that the two occupants in the vehicle had outstanding warrants. Arthur J. Kendall, 31, of Bradford, was wanted on a violation of probation warrant and was turned over to the CCSO. Savon Stewart, 23, of Amherst, was wanted on an arrest warrant from the Cheektowaga PD; he was turned over the CPD.
