Police Reports, April 6

Friday, March 24

Boston –  Nicole E. Feness, 34, of Boston was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant from the Town of West Seneca.

Boston – A report of a vehicle sitting in the roadway on Boston State Road for an hour led to the arrest of the driver, George R. Abraham, 35, of Boston, who was charged with DWI. Abraham reportedly refused to take a breath test and was taken to the Holding Center in Buffalo in lieu of $250 bail.

 

Saturday, March 25

Collins – During a roadside investigation conducted by Erie County Sheriff’s deputies on Cemetery Hill Road for equipment violations, Zachariah Fasso, 26, of Gowanda, volunteered that there was crack cocaine in the vehicle. Fasso and the passenger, Emily Sternisha, 20, also of Gowanda, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after deputies located the crack cocaine and a pipe. The subjects were both transported to the Erie County Holding Center where Fasso posted $2,000 bond, and Sternisha was released on her own recognizance following an arraignment hearing.

Springville – Following a traffic stop on South Cascade Drive, Angela I. Lipinski, 41, of Orchard Park was arrested and charged with DWI after failing field sobriety testing.  Her BAC was reported to be .15 percent. Lipinski was released to a third party after being ticketed.

 

Sunday, March 26

Concord – Following a traffic stop on Route 219, Erie County Sheriff’s deputies discovered a quantity of heroin in the vehicle and arrested the driver, Ashley Oakes, 22, and the passenger, Rochelle Dunkelman, 28, both of Little Valley. The subjects were both charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Both were later released on appearance tickets.

 

Monday, March 27

Boston– Erie County Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop on Route 219 just before 1 a.m. after observing a vehicle and traffic violations. During their investigation of the driver and the passenger, deputies reportedly observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. The driver, Jacob Walker, 36, of Sardinia and the passenger, Luis Lanzo, 23, of Buffalo, were subsequently searched. At this time deputies discovered several needles and an amount of cocaine, according to reports. Both subjects were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Walker was additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and a vehicle and traffic violation. Both defendants were taken to the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo and later released.

Boston – During a traffic stop on the 219 Expressway, Ronald M. Grottanelli, 68, of Springville was arrested and charged with AUO after it he was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Reportedly, Grottanelli was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant from the Town of Cheektowaga, he was turned over to the Cheektowaga P.D.

Boston –  A caller reported that a neighbor was shooting birds and she felt it was too close to her property. Erie County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the matter and determined that the neighbor was shooting pigeons with a pellet gun, which is permitted. Patrol spoke with both parties and referred them to the NYSDEC website for any future questions.

 

Tuesday, March 28

Boston – John S. Horvatits, 26, of Derby was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration after a computer check revealed the registration was suspended for an insurance lapse. Horvatits was ticketed and released.

 

Wednesday, March 29

Boston – Jordan M. Hernandez, 24, of Buffalo was charged with UPM after a traffic stop on Herman Hill Road. He was released on an appearance ticket. Hernandez was also issued three tickets for vehicle and traffic violations.

 

Thursday, March 30

Bolivar – Justin C. Prouty, 21, of Springville, and Nathan D. Harrison, 24, of Salamanca, were both charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle for an incident originally reported on Nov. 19, 2016. According to New York State Police reports, Prouty is being held at the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo and Harrison posted $200 cash bail.  

Concord— Following a traffic stop conducted by Erie County Sheriff’s deputies, the driver, Eric J. Lillis, 29, of East Otto, was arrested and charged with DWI by drugs. He was taken to the hospital for a blood test. Anthony M. Nardolillo, 28, of Holland and Christina L. Rung, 35, of Arcade, both back seat passengers of the vehicle, were charged with UPM and were released on appearance tickets.
