Friday, Jan. 19
Sardinia – Unknown individuals burglarized a hunting cabin on Middle Road by prying open the front door. Reportedly, two bottles of whiskey and some ammunition were taken. The ECSO is investigating.
Springville – Nathan E. Engler, 36, of Concord was charged with AUO in the second degree following a traffic stop on South Cascade Drive. He was ticketed and released.
Springville – A vehicle hit a deer on North Street and the deer was reported to still be alive.
Saturday, Jan. 20
Boston – Kayleen M. Hanley, 24, of Hamburg was charged with DWI following a traffic stop on Boston State Road. Her BAC was reported to be .26 percent. Hanley was also found to be in possession of a pair of brass knuckles and marijuana. She was subsequently charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, UPM, as well as aggravated DWI and three other vehicle and traffic violations. She was released to a family member after processing.
Boston – A traffic stop on Heinrich Road resulted in the arrest of Joseph F. Kuebler, 58, of Eden who was charged with DWI as well as four other vehicle and traffic violations. His BAC was reported to be .14 percent. Kuebler was released to at third party.
Colden – A caller on Holland-Glenwood Road reported their basement alarm went off at which time they discovered damage to the office door. It appears the alarm may have scared off the person(s). The ECSO is investigating.
Concord – A vehicle went off the roadway on Moore Road damaging a fence. No injuries were reported. Two additional vehicles went off the roadway while patrol was investigating the original incident.
Springville – Philip A. Fronczak, 36, of North Tonawanda, whose driver’s license was revoked for a prior DWI offense, was charged with felony DWI following a traffic stop on South Buffalo Street. He was also charged with felony AUO in the third degree and three other vehicle and traffic violations. He was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $500 bail. Fronczak reportedly refused to submit to a chemical test.
Springville – A 17-year-old female from Springville was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop on South Cascade Drive. She was ticketed and released. The vehicle was towed.
Sunday, Jan. 21
Concord – Charles E. Doty, 64, of Springville was charged with AUO in the third degree following a traffic stop on North Street. He was issued two tickets and released. The vehicle was parked.
Concord – A caller on Kern Road reported she tried to buy a vehicle from a Buffalo News classified ad using $3,000 worth of eBay cards but became suspicious when the seller contacted her several times.
Concord – A truck went off the roadway into a ditch on South Hill Road. The driver may have been picked up by another vehicle. Patrol attempted to contact the registered owner with negative results.
Monday, Jan. 22
Boston – A caller reported a strong odor of marijuana in the hallway at Creekside Court. Patrol did speak with a potential suspect and he was advised. Several minutes after leaving Creekside Court, deputies were again called to the scene as the suspect apparently got into an argument with another tenant.
Concord – John A. Eaton, 37, of East Otto was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and UPM after cocaine and marijuana were reportedly found in his possession following a traffic stop on the northbound 219 Expressway. Additionally, Eaton’s driver’s license was suspended as well as the vehicle’s registration. He was issued five tickets and was taken to the Holding Center in lieu of $250 bail.
Concord – An ECSO marked patrol vehicle hit a deer on Glenwood Road.
Sardinia – The ECSO assisted State Police with a car versus tractor-trailer accident on Route 39. First aid was called to the scene to evaluate the driver of the passenger vehicle.
Sardinia – Jonathan E. Arriaga, 18, of Aurora was taken to the Holding Center in Buffalo in lieu of $250 bail following a traffic stop on Olean Road in which deputies discovered Arriaga’s driver’s license was suspended.
Sardinia – A traffic stop for a lighting defect on West Schutt Road resulted in the arrest of Alesia A. Speta, 33, of Arcade, after it was discovered the vehicle’s registration was suspended. Additionally, Speta was found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged with unlawful possession. She ticketed and released.
Tuesday, Jan. 23
Boston– Patrol investigated a one-car accident on the northbound 219 Expressway. A marker sign was damaged. The vehicle was towed.
Concord – A reported vehicle off the roadway on Genesee Road occupied by an unresponsive male led to the arrest of the driver, Jeanpaul E. Mathieu, 75, of Lackawanna who was charged with DWI. His BAC was reported to be .11 percent. He was released to a third party.
Wednesday, Jan. 24
Boston – Erie County Sheriff’s Fire Investigators were called to the scene of a residential fire on Feddick Road that apparently started with a dishwasher. No further information was available.
Thursday, Jan. 25
Boston – At approximately 7:55 p.m., Kenneth T. McNell, 50, of Colden, was charged with DWI: first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent or higher while on Boston-Colden Road/Cole Road. McNell was released to a third party.
Boston – A traffic stop on the 219 Expressway resulted in the arrest of a passenger in the vehicle, Jonathan E. Seider, 35, of Concord who was charged with criminal impersonation after giving deputies false information regarding his identity. Seider was the subject of five outstanding warrants from the City of Buffalo as well as one from the Town of Hamburg. He was taken to the Holding Center pending arraignment.
Concord – A Concord Highway plow hit a deer on Genesee Road. There was no damage to the truck and the deer took off.
Concord – A 14-year-old skier suffered a possible concussion and spinal injury after falling at Kissing Bridge. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sardinia – An ECSO marked patrol unit hit a deer on Genesee Road shortly before 2 a.m. Damage was said to be minor and the vehicle remained in service.
Springville – A vehicle stopped at WalMart resulted in the arrest of Philip M. Rich, 27, of Springville, who was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree after he was found to be in possession of a quantity of concentrated cannabis. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Saturday, Jan. 27
Springville – At approximately 2:33 a.m., Andrew T. Newsome, 30, of Akron, Ohio, was charged with DWI: first offense and failure to stop at a stop sign while on East Main Street. Newsome was issued an appearance ticket.
