Two men arrested for drugs on Route 219

BOSTON – Christopher John, 20, of Salamanca, and Clayton Jimerson, 21, of Cold Spring were stopped on Nov. 6 at 2:09 a.m. by an Erie County Sheriff’s deputy. The deputy conducted a traffic stop for vehicle and traffic law violations on Route 219 in the Town of Boston.

When the deputy approached the vehicle, he detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The deputy’s investigation discovered that John, the driver of the vehicle, possessed marijuana.

Mug_Jimerson copyJimerson, the passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of an amount of concentrated cannabis, a glass bong containing additional concentrated cannabis and a bag of marijuana.

John was released with appearance tickets for possession of marijuana and a summons for a vehicle and traffic law violation.

Jimerson was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of marijuana, more than 25 grams, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was held in the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
