BOSTON – Christopher John, 20, of Salamanca, and Clayton Jimerson, 21, of Cold Spring were stopped on Nov. 6 at 2:09 a.m. by an Erie County Sheriff’s deputy. The deputy conducted a traffic stop for vehicle and traffic law violations on Route 219 in the Town of Boston.
When the deputy approached the vehicle, he detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The deputy’s investigation discovered that John, the driver of the vehicle, possessed marijuana.
Jimerson, the passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of an amount of concentrated cannabis, a glass bong containing additional concentrated cannabis and a bag of marijuana.
John was released with appearance tickets for possession of marijuana and a summons for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
Jimerson was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of marijuana, more than 25 grams, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was held in the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
